Delete your account

You can permanently delete your Sona account and associated personal data from inside the app.

In the Sona app
  1. Open Sona and go to Settings.
  2. Choose Delete my account.
  3. Review the confirmation and approve deletion.

If you cannot access the app

Email [email protected] with the subject “Sona account deletion”. Contact us from the email address associated with your account where possible. We may ask for limited information to verify that the account belongs to you.

What is deleted

Deletion removes the Sona account and Sona-controlled profile information, conversations, saved memories, preferences, notification tokens and related usage records associated with the account.

What may be retained

We may retain limited transaction, fraud-prevention, security or legal records where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect the service. Retained records are not used to recreate your deleted account.

Before deleting

Account deletion is permanent. Your conversations and relationship history cannot be restored after deletion.
